Elwood Ranch Locations

In the rolling oak hills and pine-covered valleys of Northeastern California, ranching is
more than a way of life, it is a test of grit, resilience, and tradition. The land is raw, wild,
and beautiful and demands respect. The Elwood Ranch spans sagebrush rangeland,
mountain meadows, and volcanic soil where cattle graze freely across wide-open
spaces just as they have for generations. The seasons are sharp and unforgiving, from
harsh winters and wind-scoured ridges to dry summers that test every inch of grass.
The Elwood Ranch cattle are resilient and ready to go to work on any commercial or
registered operation in the nation.

The cattle grow naturally on the potent native grasses with no creep feeders on the
ranch. The goal is longevity within our herd so that we know they will not just survive
but prosper in your herd with genetics and phenotype to improve progeny and
profitability. Our commitment is to long lasting cattle with fertility, structural soundness,
and growth. The Elwood Ranches are centrally located and invite visitors passing
through to go through our herd and look at our genetics.
